Cherry Crest PTSA Clubs & Activities offers students a range of options including Robotics Club, Science Club, Environmental Science Club, Math Club, Math Challenge, Passport Club, Running Club, Reading Club, Art Club, and Spelling Bee. The program also includes school-wide and community events such as Field Day, Art Reflections, School Year Book, G5 Graduation Party, Memory Book, Safety Patrol, Carnival, Walkathon, Family STEM Night, Festival of Culture, Variety Show, School Dance, Staff Appreciation, Movie Nights, and a Readathon. Students can take part in activities that include hands-on experiments, math challenges, geography stamp collecting, art projects, and participation in competitions and special events.

In Robotics Club, students participate in the nationally recognized First Lego League Robotics competition with their Cherry Crest peers, and G4 and G5 students build coding and robotics skills, learn problem solving, teamwork, and presentation skills in a fun and encouraging environment. Science Club exposes students to science basics across biology, physics, astrophysics, and chemistry with hands-on experiments, while Environmental Science Club includes hands-on experiments, group projects, and an optional all-school assembly to share end-of-club environmental projects. Math Club offers weekly online classes and optional math competitions, and Math Challenge provides bi-weekly math challenges with an end-of-year certificate of achievement for completing 10 challenges. Passport Club involves learning about world geography and collecting stamps for a passport during in-person check-in at school, and Running Club allows students to walk, skip, or run every recess and earn charms as they gain mileage. Reading Club meets every week for students in kindergarten through grade 2, and Art Club focuses on fun, imaginative, hands-on art projects. Spelling Bee winners at Cherry Crest advance to the regional Spelling Bee competition, Field Day includes outside games and activities such as sack races, archery, digging for gold, and face painting, and Art Reflections is a National PTSA art contest in which Cherry Crest students get honored every year. Family STEM Night offers hands-on STEM experiences with booths, games, and activities such as a robot challenge and making invisible ink.
The Cherry Crest PTSA leadership team includes Lynnette Zhong (President), Mary Griffith (Secretary), Christine Wong (Treasurer), Mozhgan Torabifard (Vice-President – Communications), Elena Razmpoosh (Vice-President – Curriculum Enhancement), Serena Ji (Vice President – Clubs and Membership), and Jessica Wang (Vice-President – Volunteers). The PTSA states that its mission is to help enrich the academic experience of every student at Cherry Crest. Cherry Crest PTSA provides approximately $200,000 annually to support Cherry Crest Elementary students, families, and staff. Cherry Crest Elementary is described as the #1 Bellevue elementary school and the #4 elementary school in Washington.
