About
PopRox Dance Summer Camp gives campers a chance to explore different styles of dance, including Breakdancing, Jazz Funk, Hip Hop, and K Pop. During the week, campers learn dance routines and current dance moves and work on arts and crafts and other art projects. The week ends with a performance for parents.
• Ages: 5–12 years old
• Schedule: All-day camp, Monday–Friday, 9am–3pm for one week, with early drop-off from 8:30am–9am for an additional fee
• Price: $450
The camp welcomes everyone regardless of age, shape, background, race, skill level, or sexual orientation and states that it is inclusive of all gender expressions and identities. Guest instructors visit throughout the week to show campers different styles of dance, and arts and crafts are specially curated for each camp. The mission statement says that dance is universal, should not discriminate, and should unite people across cultures and communities, and that dance should be exploratory, encouraging, confidence building, and stress-free.
