About
New Heights Summer Camps offers faith-based summer camps that include worship, music, competition, cheering, nonstop adventure, and late-night laughs. Campers take part in Bible-focused worship sessions, morning devotionals, breakout sessions, and small group conversations. Activities at camp include go carts, a skatepark, a water zip line, rec competitions, a waterpark, a ropes course, and beach volleyball.
• Ages: 6–18 years old
• Price: 6th Grade Boot Camp Day Camp – $20; Kids Camp Day Camp – $60; Canyon overnight camp – $450; Getaway overnight camp – $450
New Heights Summer Camps are overnight camps with cabins, with an adult security team patrolling each evening. Every cabin is staffed by at least two trained adult leaders, and students go straight to their rooms after the day’s events and are not allowed to leave their cabin after lights out. Adult leaders are background-checked, interview-approved, have completed sexual abuse awareness training, and are trained in mandatory reporting. A team of registered nurses or health assistants is on-site to address each camper’s health and safety concerns and to dispense all medications. All campers are required to complete a Medical Release form and, if medication is needed, print the Medical Authorization Report and bring it to the Nurse Team at check in.
Registration for New Heights Summer Camps covers all food, travel, lodging, and programming. Cell phones are not allowed at camp; if students bring phones, leaders collect them and return them at the end of camp. Students are welcome to bring cameras for personal photography, and camp photographers capture photos that are available digitally after camp. Financial aid is available for those with limited resources. Adults can serve at Kids Camp, Getaway, and Canyon camps.
The stated mission of New Heights Summer Camps is: “Every camper has a name, every name has a story, every story matters to God. At the heart of it all is the desire for every student to experience the life-changing love of Jesus and respond in faith. Safety of our students is our top priority. We are committed to sharing the message and life of Jesus to everyone.” The camps also partner with The City Church in its Fit for Life ministry, coming alongside young Ugandan entrepreneurs, with a goal of equipping local pastors and leaders with tools to help them unify their teams within their churches and congregations, and a hope to participate in ministry, events, and activities that would strengthen congregations and reach their communities.
