The Learning Garage

The Learning Garage offers birthday parties, kids’ nights out, parent-and-me paint classes, art classes, and camps. Project-based art classes give students the chance to work on one-of-a-kind art projects tailored to a child’s theme and to explore a variety of mediums while making art. The studio describes itself as a portal to play, paint, and possibility, where imagination drives everything done in the program.

• Ages: 3–12 years old

Mia leads The Learning Garage and created and runs the program. In Korea, Mia studied art and media-interaction design during both her undergraduate and graduate programs, focusing on children’s interactive experiences in museums. The Learning Garage states that its mission is to provide programs that bring out everyone’s inner creativity, allowing them to experience the endless joy of learning.
