Summer Nature Camps is a program of New Jersey Audubon’s Nature Center of Cape May. Summer Nature Camp registration is open. New Jersey Audubon delivers educational programs, activities, and media that inspire people to care for nature.

New Jersey Audubon was founded in 1897. Its mission is to inspire and empower people to care for nature throughout New Jersey and beyond. New Jersey Audubon grows inclusive communities of nature supporters through its centers, sanctuaries, and events. It creates and encourages model habitats that benefit wildlife, particularly birds and native species, and uses science and observations to inform and prioritize conservation actions. New Jersey Audubon advances practices and policies that preserve habitat, wildlife, and biodiversity. New Jersey Audubon collaborates with a network of partners to extend its knowledge, reach, and impact. The organization’s leadership includes Alex Ireland, Ph.D. (President and CEO); Kimberly Armenti (Vice President of Development and Communications); Mark Carmichael (Chief Financial Officer); Kelly Wenzel (Director of Stewardship); David Mizrahi, Ph.D. (Vice President of Research and Monitoring); Brett Ewald (Director of Cape May Bird Observatory); and Allison Mulch (Director of Education), along with board officers Michael J. Van Wagner (Board Chair); Veda Truesdale (1st Vice Chair); Kathy Horn (2nd Vice Chair); Angela Ortiz (Treasurer); and Jason Bigler (Secretary). Additional board members are Joseph L.
