The Center for Aquatic Sciences offers outreach programs and virtual programs for all ages. Its outreach offerings include Animal Champions, CARES: Conserve and Re-Establish Species, Life on the Reef, Who Lives Where?, Crazy Coverings, Library Summer Reading Program 2025: Ocean of Color, Living Lifecycles, Oceans in Motion, Silly Senses, and Tidepool Sensory Tables. Most outreach programs include live animals, and some include touch tables, hands-on activities, crafts, animal presentations, activity passports, and prizes.

About the provider
The Center for Aquatic Sciences says its mission is to provide learning experiences that empower youth to lead the way in understanding, appreciating, and protecting the environment. It also says it is committed to the Camden community and to increasing residents’ access to natural spaces and public waterways, as well as advocating for environmental justice. The center offers holiday and summer camps for children ages 4-14, overnights for family and scout groups, and Teen Marine Science Institutes for middle and high school students.
Programs are available for all ages. Virtual Outreach programs are also available. Programs can be customized to meet needs. Adult volunteers from the school are needed for Aquarium Day. Family Aquatic Sciences Night is for the entire community.
