GFS states that it is committed to maintaining, strengthening, and reconciling family relationships and to enriching and transforming the neighborhood through collaboration of clinical and community resources. GFS employs trained professionals, and the clinical team consists of LCSWs, LSWs, MSWs, and MSW interns. The leadership team includes Sister Helen Cole SSJ, MSW, LCSW (Director); Lourdes Sherby, MSW, LCSW (Bi-Lingual Social Worker and Youth Development Program Director); Cathy Lopez (Secretary); Angie and Carmen (CASA Program Assistants); Ally and Matthew Clifford (Youth Development Associates); Ms. Luz (CASA Cook); and volunteers Ms. Barb, Mr. Connor, Ms. Deb, and Ms. Nancy.

CASA Camden provides bi-lingual counseling in English and Spanish and offers 10 college tours throughout the year. Next Step Advisors in the program help teens examine their best fit, including career, military, and trade unions. In Camden, 64% of the population has a high school diploma, and 100% of students in the CASA program graduate high school. GFS reports that it directly serves one thousand persons annually and states that money should never be a hindrance to care. GFS networks with leading social service agencies and community and cultural organizations, focuses on families in distress with sensitivity to cultural needs, and works to bring Hope, Help, and Healing. Sister Helen Cole received the 2020 KYW Game-Changer Award.
