The wholesale nursery grows and sells a large variety of native, ornamental, conifer, shade, container, and flowering plants, trees, and shrubs from Maine to Virginia. The CSA offers 26-week and 10-week options and provides chemical-free, locally grown food, and over 500 families get a weekly share of fresh, organic vegetables from the CSA. CSA members can visit the farm animals and walk the forest trails during their visit.
Fernbrook Farms is shared with many and used to educate both young and old about food, the beauty of nature, and sustainable farming practices. The education center engages several thousand children each year as they experience the wonder of nature and learn about the sources of their food. In 1996, 230 acres of the farm were permanently preserved under the New Jersey Farmland Preservation Act.
