New Jersey Youth Corps includes classes for the HSE prep and community service experience. Through these classes and service projects, participants take part in activities that combine academic instruction with work in the community.

• Price: Earn up to $1400 stipend

New Jersey Youth Corps is a state-wide program designed to assist individuals, 16–25 years old, who have interests in completing their high school education and gaining community service experience. Participant benefits listed for the program include Life Skills, Academic Instruction, Financial Literacy, Employability Skills, Pregnancy Prevention Planning, HSE Prep, and Community Services. Through a combination of classes for the HSE prep and community service experience, Youth Corps members acquire knowledge and skills necessary to find gainful employment, job training, or enroll in post-secondary education. Program requirements include a Birth Certificate, Social Security Card, Photo ID, and an interview with staff.
