Schafer Sports Summer Camp offers campers a variety of activities including gymnastics, sports, playground games, swimming, and tumbling. The camp takes place at Schafer Sports Center and includes both full and half day program options.

After 25 years of nurturing Schafer Gymnastics, the team has built Schafer Sports Center as their dream facility. The program states that it believes every child can develop a love of physical fitness, can experience the joy of setting and accomplishing goals, and can develop a “can do” attitude when taught by nurturing, positive and experienced adults. It also states a belief in developing children’s skills, nurturing their self-esteem, and inspiring them to reach for the stars. The organization notes that it is dedicated to meeting the needs of its communities through programs and outreach activities and lists that it is a proud member of other organizations.
Early drop-off and extended hours options are available in addition to camp enrollment, and families can choose to add before care, after care, or both to the camp day. A Universal Health Record and Vaccination Record must be submitted to Schafer by June 1, 2026, and any new sign-up occurring after June 1, 2026 must submit these records within 48 hours of sign-up. If a child has been granted an IEP or 504 plan, families are asked to reach out to the Schafer office for more information before beginning enrollment. If a camp session is full or closed, families are welcome to join the waitlist, and camp sessions close at noon on Thursday of the week prior to each session. Facility hours are Monday through Friday from 11:00am to 7:00pm, Saturday from 8:00am to 4:00pm, and Sunday for rentals only, and office hours are Monday through Friday from 11:00am to 7:00pm and Saturday from 8:00am to 2:00pm.
