A Grade Ahead offers non-traditional tutoring programs in math, English, and science, along with enrichment camps. The program uses classroom-style teaching with a small group of students in each class, with a maximum class size of 8 at its Enrichment Academies. Lesson plans are meticulously curated and accompanied by homework, and English activities include creatively written passages followed by thought-provoking questions, along with a strong focus on vocabulary, grammar, punctuation, and spelling.

A Grade Ahead provides after-school academic enrichment programs from pre-kindergarten through high school, using challenging, up-to-date curricula in math, English, and science and a progressive curriculum that introduces new skills over time. All instructors have a minimum of two years of college, most have at least a bachelor’s degree, and they receive specialized A Grade Ahead training, with teacher evaluations occurring once every 3–6 months. The program began in 2001, was founded by Meenal and Parag Singhal, and has grown to 25 Enrichment Academies nationwide, with over 35,000 students having participated. The program states that education is imperative to future success in life and that its goal is for children to follow this path with the program, and it describes itself as a learning community that embraces families and is bound by common values, goals, and aspirations.
