Learn to Pitch was founded in the summer of 2020. The founder, James Paton, is a Professional Baseball Player and leads Learn to Pitch NJ as its founder. James Paton has experience pitching for the Russian National Baseball Team and pitched professionally for RusStar Baseball Club in Moscow. RusStar Moscow became champions for the first time in the Russian National Baseball Championship following a 5-1 win over the Moscow Wolves in the best-of-nine Finals Series. The program’s stated mission is to be a youth baseball and softball academy dedicated to long-term player development through fundamentals and pitching clinics, summer camp, travel teams, indoor winter league, lessons, and remote pitching delivery analyses.
