Princeton Ballet School offers ballet technique classes and other ballet and dance classes. The program includes options for both beginner-level students and experienced dancers, starting at age three through adult. Gift certificates are available for these ballet and dance classes.

Princeton Ballet School was founded in 1954 by Audrée Estey and is celebrating over 65 years of excellence in dance education. It is the official school of American Repertory Ballet and is part of the Princeton Ballet Society, through which American Repertory Ballet was founded. The school has more than 20 specialized faculty members, and many of them have graduate degrees in dance education and have won major teaching awards. Princeton Ballet School emphasizes a philosophy of dance education that focuses on safe and progressive nurturing of developing dancers and teaches age- and developmentally appropriate ballet technique classes. The program is dedicated to live music in the classroom and offers extensive performance opportunities for students throughout the year. Princeton Ballet School is described as one of the finest non-profit dance schools in the nation, and its affiliated company, American Repertory Ballet, has been designated a “Major Arts Institution” by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, has received a Citation of Excellence, and is frequently voted the Jersey Arts People’s Choice Award for “Favorite Dance Company.” The school also maintains a Wall of Fame highlighting alumni who have gone on to dance with outstanding dance companies.
