Waldorf School of Princeton offers early childhood and grade school programs on a main campus that includes tennis courts, sports fields used as an outdoor “gymnasium,” and a solar greenhouse in the form of a geodesic dome. All early childhood and grade school programs are housed together on this main campus.

Founded in 1983, Waldorf School of Princeton is New Jersey's only Waldorf school, honoring children and families from Early Childhood through 8th Grade. By the 1984 school year, the school had established a full 18-member nursery-kindergarten, and in 1986 the grade school was inaugurated. The current farmhouse was acquired in 1987, a new grade school building opened in 1998, tennis courts and sports fields were created in 2005, and a solar greenhouse in the form of a geodesic dome was completed with community efforts in 2007. By 2008, the school reached its goal of complete campus consolidation. The leadership team has included Caroline Phinney, Bob Phinney, and Ekkehard Heyder.
