The Neighbors In Hardship Scholarship Fund allows children of families experiencing financial difficulties due to the Coronavirus pandemic and other hardships to continue to attend Boys & Girls Clubs of Northwest New Jersey programs. Since June 2021, the organization reports awarding 84 scholarships, including 68 monthly scholarships to aftercare and pre-school children, 6 individual scholarships for registration fees for sports, and 6 scholarships for 9-weeks of summer camp. The leadership team includes Dan Dipsey. Local community partners support the Clubs through philanthropic efforts, and the Wayne Club’s Early Education Center thanks William Paterson University students for spending spring break with the program.
