Belisama Irish Dance & Rhythm Sol offers Pearls Pre-Irish Dance Program for ages 3-5, where young dancers do creative movement with Irish flair. It also offers Beginner Irish Dance, Advanced Beginner Irish Dance, Novice Irish Dance, Prizewinner Irish Dance, Championship Irish Dance, and Teen/Adult Irish Dance. The program also includes Performing Company and Competition/Teams, Private Lessons, Holiday Camp Coverage for ages 2-6, Date Nights for ages 2-10, and Camp for ages 2-6.
Programs
- Pearls Pre-Irish Dance Program — ages 3-5 · Intro to Irish- Pearls Program for young dancers; creative movement with Irish flair.
- Beginner Irish Dance — Beginners learn the basics of Irish dance, including soft shoe, hard shoe, and ceili dances.
- Advanced Beginner Irish Dance — Advanced beginner dancers may choose to compete and/or perform; two 60 minute classes per week.
- Novice Irish Dance — Novice dancers continue learning more advanced movements and technique; two 90 minute classes per week.
- Prizewinner Irish Dance — Prizewinner dancers continue learning more advanced movements and technique; three 90 minute classes per week for PW Champ.
- Championship Irish Dance — Championship dancers continue learning more advanced movements and technique.
- Performing Company and Competition/Teams — Advanced Beginner and up · Sundays · Add-on option for dancers who wish to perform throughout the community year round; classes alternate between Performance and Competition/Teams focus.
- Teen/Adult Irish Dance — teen/adult · Mixed-level classes; often broken down into 12 week sessions.
- Private Lessons — Advanced Beginner and up · Monday · Available to all dancers level Advanced Beginner and up.
- Holiday Camp Coverage — ages 2-6 · Offered for the 2026-2027 school year for childcare coverage on school closure days.
- Date Nights — ages 2-10 · Offered multiple times per month; 3 hours for $30 dinner included.
- Camp — ages 2-6

About the provider
Belisama Irish Dance & Rhythm Sol was founded in 2006 by Adrienne Bellis with the support of Celia Bassett, and it is now owned and operated by Celia Basset. Lead teachers are background-checked and CPR-certified, and the program was named Best Dance Company in 2023, 2024, and 2025 by The Santa Fe Reporter, and Best Dance Company in 2024 by the New Mexico Entertainment Awards. The program partners with schools, organizations, and community groups throughout Santa Fe and across New Mexico.
Offers aftercare, full-day care on Fridays, school closures, and a popular Date Night program. Dancers and Campers get priority registration. Tuition prices are per month; Teen/Adult Irish Dance classes are drop-in with a class card; Date Nights and Childcare are priced by the day or hour.
