Nevada Sage Waldorf School Programs offers an Early and Extended Care Program with early care from 7:30am to 8:15am, regular program hours from 8:15am to 3:30pm for a full day or 8:15am to 12:45pm for a half day, and extended care from 3:30pm to 5:30pm. It also offers an Early Childhood Summer Program during the summer months and a Grades Summer Camp for 1st-5th grade during select weeks in June and July, with nature, water-play, crafts, and play-based activities.

About the provider

The school says it was started in 2000 by a group of parents in the Reno/Tahoe/Sparks area. It moved to a small house in 2003, expanded to a larger campus in 2005, and transitioned to its current campus in the fall of 2014. Nevada Sage Waldorf School describes itself as Reno's only accredited Waldorf school, a developing member of AWSNA, and the first Waldorf school in Nevada.

Independent, non-sectarian school. Values a healthy food environment, mindful use of the environment, and appropriate and responsible use of technology, limiting screens including computers, social media, video games, and cellphones. Uses student portfolio assessment rather than standardized testing. Tuition adjustment assistance is available annually for children 5 years or older on June 1 preceding the enrollment year; not available for Continuing Care.
