Nevada Technology Academy Summer Robotics Camps offers Edison Robots I & II for ages 5 to 7, Lego WeDo 2.0 for ages 8 to 10, Lego Mind Storm | 3D Printing for ages 11 to 13, and CAD + 3D Printing for ages 13 and up. Edison Robots I & II uses a simple programming interface with drag-and-drop icons, and Lego WeDo 2.0 has students work in groups of 2 to build and program robotic operations with motors and sensors.
Programs
- Edison Robots I & II — 5 - 7 · $150 per session · Students learn basic concepts of controlling machines via simple programming interface with drag and drop icons. Classroom activities allow students to progress at their own rates.
- Lego WeDo 2.0 — 8 - 10 · $150 per session · Students learn to apply STEM concepts with robotics using the Lego WeDo 2.0 environment. Working in groups of 2, students build and program robotic operations using motors and sensors.
- Lego Mind Storm | 3D Printing — 11 - 13 · $150 per session
- CAD + 3D Printing — 13+ · $150 per session
