Take 2 Performers Studio offers Child Acting/Dance Combo with theater games, improvisation, speech and diction, working together, direction, listening and responding, plus quarterly showcases. It also offers Teen Acting Lab 1 with acting fundamentals, character building, voice and body work, basic camera technique with commercials, monologues, and short scene work, and Teen Acting Lab 2 with scene work, monologues, audition techniques, emotional truth, advanced character development, ensemble rehearsal, and performance. Adult Acting Lab 1, Adult Acting Lab 2, Adult Scene Study, and Preteen Acting Lab 1-2 are also listed.

• Adult Scene Study — 17 & up · Tuesdays 5:30PM-8:30PM; Wednesdays 6:00PM-9:00PM · For intermediate to advanced; learn scene study, crafting moments, emotions, intentions, and desires of the character.
• Teen Acting Lab 1 — 13-17 · Mondays 5:00PM-6:30PM · For beginners to intermediate; acting fundamentals, character building, voice/body work, basic camera technique with commercials, monologues and short scene work. Showcase on the 12th week.
• Teen Acting Lab 2 — 13-17 · Mondays 6:30PM-8:00PM; Wednesdays 4:00PM-6:00PM · Scene work, monologues, audition techniques, emotional truth, advanced character development, ensemble rehearsal, and performance.
• Preteen Acting Lab 1-2 — Thursdays 4:00PM-6:00PM; Saturdays 10:00AM-12:00PM · Confidence, creativity, collaboration, storytelling, character-building, and basic on-camera technique with commercials, monologues and short scene work. Showcase on the 12th week.
• Child Acting/Dance Combo — 4-8 · Tuesdays 4:00PM-5:00PM · $100 per month · Emphasis on personal power; theater games and improvisation, speech and diction, working together, direction, listening and responding. Quarterly showcases.
• Dance — $25–$50 per month · Additional $25 for students enrolled in one of the above classes; $50 per month for students not enrolled in any other classes.

About the provider

Take 2 Performers Studio has served the greater Reno/Tahoe community for over 16 years. Its mission is to inspire and empower performers of all ages to discover their authentic voice, develop their craft, and grow with confidence on screen, on stage, and in life. The studio also lists a one-time registration fee of $49, a minimum commitment of 3 months, and a 30-day written notice requirement after 3 months for withdrawal.

A one time registration fee of $49 is due at the time of enrollment. A minimum commitment of 3 months is required. After 3 months, withdrawal requires written notice using the withdrawal forms supplied at the front desk at least 30 days prior to the desired last class date.
