Cornell Cooperative Extension Cayuga County 4-H Youth includes activities such as Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) events, public speaking competitions, and a Produced in New York food competition. The program also offers Animal Science events, county and state fair participation, various club activities, 4-H Dog Obedience, the 4-H Giant Pumpkin Contest, Pullorum Testing, and the 4-H Spark Club in Moravia. Youth can also take part in advanced skills for 4-H dairy showmanship and fitting, including an Advanced Dairy Showmanship session held on Thursday, May 14 from 5:00–7:00 pm.

Cornell Cooperative Extension Cayuga County (CCE Cayuga) is a community-based educational outreach agency with state and national networks. It offers educational programs and services in Agriculture, 4-H Youth Development, Environmental Education, and Nutrition. CCE staff work with Cayuga County residents to assess important community issues and to develop and implement strategies and programs to address those needs. CCE has been serving Cayuga County for over 100 years. Nationally, over 6 million youth belong to 4-H, and in Cayuga County the program includes local and county-wide 4-H clubs, community outreach, connections to 4-H camps, and statewide 4-H activities. Programs promote healthy lifestyles and confidence in youth through participation in the listed events and activities, and enrollment is open for new and returning members.
