About

YMCA Buffalo Niagara Camps and Youth Programs are part of YMCA Buffalo Niagara, which operates five wellness centers, two overnight camps, and over 40 child care locations. The programs are run by a charitable, community-based organization that focuses on youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.

Founded in 1852, YMCA Buffalo Niagara is the second-oldest YMCA in the United States and one of the oldest institutions in Western New York. YMCA Buffalo Niagara states that its mission is to provide programs designed to build a healthy spirit, mind, and body for all. As a nonprofit organization, it is supported by membership dues and program fees, community fundraising, the YMCA Turkey Trot, grants, and annual earnings from its Endowment Fund. Each year the organization allocates $1.6 million to support equitable access for people in the community and welcomes people of all ages and backgrounds.
