About
BrightPath West Seneca Child Care Center offers sensory exploration, attachment-based play, language-rich interactions, and an introduction to basic American Sign Language (ASL) for younger children. Children take part in hands-on activities, play-based learning, structured routines, and cooperative play, along with music, movement, art, dramatic play, and hands-on, inquiry-based STEM experiences. School-age children can participate in homework help, enrichment activities, recreational play, hands-on STEM, physical activities, and virtual tours, as well as a music program, yoga program, and dance programs.

BrightPath West Seneca Child Care Center opened in 1998 and is licensed for 126 children. The center’s mission is to offer high-quality child care and exciting learning opportunities that give every child the best start in life. The site includes two safe, clean, and well-equipped playgrounds, as well as bright and engaging classrooms.
The leadership team includes Center Director Jillian Newman, who has a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Elementary Education. Educators at the center are described as passionate about delivering early years education that empowers and inspires children to create their futures.
BrightPath West Seneca Child Care Center is the only NAEYC Accredited child care center in West Seneca and is an NAEYC Accredited Center. It has received several recognitions, including the 2025 Culture at Work Award, the 2025 Silver Stevie Award in Consumer Services, and the 2024 Kudos Culture Leader Award. The center is a valued member of the West Seneca community and hosts the school district’s Universal Pre-K Program.
The program offers a music program with a researched, systematic approach to nurturing children’s social skills and musical development, including singing in tune and rhythmic coordination. It also includes a yoga program that enriches the preschool curriculum through fun, themed sessions, and dance programs that blend solid technique with fun and creative choreography. The center uses a brand new BeeCurious curriculum that taps into children’s inherent curiosity and offers integrative, child-centered education where educators and children engage in the inquiry process as they create, connect, and collaborate.
BrightPath West Seneca Child Care Center is a nut-free center and serves nutritious, scratch-made meals developed with guidance from a Registered Dietitian. The menu uses fresh, often local ingredients, rotates every four weeks, and changes seasonally. The center offers a standard 10% U.S. military discount for families in active duty. Virtual tours are available by phone scheduling.
