New York State 4-H Camps

New York State 4-H Camps offers day and overnight camps, including shortened overnight programs for younger campers and specialty camps for unique audiences. Activities include swimming, boating, creative arts, leadership, backpacking, fishing, archery, and other camp-specific activities.

About the provider

New York State 4-H Camps are open to all young people, whether or not they are enrolled as 4-H members, and they serve campers from every county in the state. New York State 4-H camps are members of the American Camp Association (ACA), and some camps are ACA Accredited. 4-H has been welcoming young people for more than 100 years, Dorothy P. Flint Nassau County 4-H Camp was first established in 1924, and Hidden Valley 4-H Camp has been in Watkins Glen State Park since 1945.

Enrollment in 4-H Programs is done through each county's Cooperative Extension Office. Camps are open to all young people, whether or not they are enrolled as 4-H members.
