About
Youth & Recreational Services offers activities that include use of an ice rink, soccer, softball, ice hockey, adapted recreation, and a pool. The program uses online registration for its classes, and all classes must be paid in full to register. Only credit card payments are accepted for online registration.
• Schedule: Office hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:15 PM, and phone questions can be directed to 897-7207 ext. 1 between 9:00 AM and 4:30 PM Monday through Friday.

Youth & Recreational Services is the department of town government responsible for recreation and youth services. Its stated mission is to provide programs, services, and opportunities in which all people can participate and enjoy, including areas such as education, health, athletics, the arts, and social development, and to provide referrals for needs beyond its resources. The leadership team includes Executive Director Krystle Feind; Program Leader (Youth) Chelsea Wartinger; Program Leader Tim Petranchuk; Recreation Leaders Sean McCowan and Ryan Smith; Adapted Recreation Program Director Amy McMahon; Y.E.S. Program Coordinator Alicia Hark; Hockey Coordinator Tony Pierino; Pool Director Sean Kunkel; and Clerks Kathy Miesowicz, Angela Ruchalski, and Michele Oldfield. Access to the Alexander Building uses a communication pad at the front door to notify the department of arrival so staff can grant access.
