Camp Cherith of Western New York

Camp Cherith of Western New York offers Day Camp along with specific programs called CILT 1, CILT 2, BUILT 1, and BUILT 2. It is the camping ministry of Pioneer Clubs and runs a Bible-based, Christ-centered outdoor camping program for children and youth.

• Ages: 6–18 years old
• Schedule: Summer 2026 sessions include Day Camp in early July, followed by four week-long overnight camp weeks in July and early August, with CILT and BUILT programs scheduled across Weeks 1–4

Camp Cherith of Western New York has 80 years of Christian camping ministry serving youth ages 7–18 years. Its mission is to transform lives, cultivate disciples and train leaders through a Bible-based, Christ-centered outdoor camping program for children and youth. Camp Cherith is affiliated with a variety of organizations because of the unique services each is able to provide. The program states beliefs that include one God in three persons, the authority of the Old and New Testament Scriptures, the person and work of Jesus Christ, the need for new birth through faith in Christ, the bodily resurrection of Christ, his personal return, the bodily resurrection of the just and unjust, the equal value of all persons as image-bearers of God, God’s creation of each person as male or female, marriage as the union of one man and one woman, and honoring God by thoughtfully using and not abusing the earth’s resources.
