Eleanor Whitmore Early Childhood Center

The Eleanor Whitmore Early Childhood Center offers an Infant Program for children 6 to 17 months, a Toddler Program for children 18 months to 2 years, 11 months, and a Pre-School program for children 3 to 4 years old. The center provides full-day, year-round care for 10 hours a day, 12 months a year.

About the provider

For 50+ years, the Center, formerly East Hampton Day Care, has supported year-round working families with young children. It is a fully licensed Childcare Center by the State of New York under the guidance of the Office of Child and Family Services, is affiliated with the National Association for the Education of Young Children, and follows the Teaching Strategies, Creative Curriculum endorsed by NAEYC. The Center also partners with local non-profit organizations, including Amber Waves Farm, the East Hampton Library, the Garden Club of East Hampton, the Ladies Village Improvement Society, Paddlers for Humanity, and Springs Food Pantry.

Space is limited in all programs, and waiting lists are maintained.
