• Sail Into Summer! - Summer 2026 — Ages 3-12 · Tuesday-Friday, morning 10:00-11:30 am or afternoon Noon-1:30 pm · $16–$18 per session · Guided Visit $16 per child; Extend Your Play additional $2 per child, $18 for chaperones; Self-Guided Visit $17-$18 per person including chaperones. Reservations required.

About the provider

The museum’s mission is "Connecting all our communities’ children, and those who care for them, to one another and a life of wonder, imagination and exploration." It was accredited by the American Alliance of Museums in 2021, named a 2025 Neighborhood Builders Award recipient by the Bank of America Charitable Foundation, earned the 2023 Platinum Candid Seal of Transparency and Four-Star Status on Charity Navigator, and received the Education Partner award from BOCES in 2020. The museum also supports families through LICM4all, Friendly Hours, Sensory Sensitive Theater, a Sensory Room, assistive devices, wheelchair accessibility, Visual Vocabulary Cards, PCS Cards, and one-to-one aide admission support.

Pre-registration is required for Friendly Hours and attendance is limited. Sensory Sensitive Theater performances require separate registration. One complimentary admission is provided for a licensed care provider assisting a paid visitor or member who requires additional assistance.
