Guilderland YMCA offers swim lessons, childcare, youth development programs, group training classes, and Child Watch. The swim lessons are for first-time swimmers through advanced skills, and the childcare offerings include preschool, childcare, and before- and after-school care for school-age kids.
Programs
- Swim Lessons — High-quality aquatics programs for first-time swimmers to advanced skills; expert instructors help kids build confidence, safety, and skills in the water.
- Childcare — Affordable, enriching programs for children, including preschool, childcare, and before- and after-school care for school-age kids.
- Youth Development Programs — Programs focused on youth development, including camps, after-school programs, early childhood care, and leadership programs.
- Group Training Classes — All group training classes are included with membership.

About the provider
The Capital District YMCA supports, engages, and strengthens the Capital Region community through programs and partnerships focused on youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The Y is committed to diversity, equity and inclusion, and it provides community programs and partnerships, food drives for local pantries, Basket Brigade meals, Running Start school supplies and clothing, and support for families and youth across the Capital Region.

The Capital District YMCA operates 10 branch locations. Nationwide Membership is available to YMCA members in good standing from other associations.
