Círculo de la Hispanidad Youth Programs include a partner after school program, a summer camp, and sports activities. The sports activities are offered in conjunction with the Long Beach Soccer Club. These youth programs are part of the broader services offered by Círculo de la Hispanidad, Inc.
Círculo de la Hispanidad, Inc. has been serving the community for over 40 years. In January 2010, Círculo’s state-of-the-art community center became a reality. Círculo currently provides over twenty programs to the community in the areas of education, ESL classes, literacy programs, GED preparation and career services, domestic violence, housing, HIV/AIDS, and youth services, including the partner after school program, summer camp, and sports activities in conjunction with the Long Beach Soccer Club. The organization’s mission states that, through advocacy, Círculo seeks to unify community voices with the goal of empowering the underserved and protecting human and civil rights for all. Círculo de la Hispanidad is a 501(c)(3) non-for-profit organization.
The leadership team includes Founder and Executive Director Gil Bernardino, M.S., and Chief Director of Services and Operations Sarah Brewster, Ph.D., J.D., L.M.S.W.
