• Ages: 6 weeks–12 years old

In 2008, Red Door Childcare & Summer Camp opened its doors to the community providing childcare to children ages 6 weeks to 12 years. The program offers year-round, age-appropriate care to children from six months to three years of age. It is described as a safe environment for early learners.

Red Door Childcare & Summer Camp has board-certified staff. It is a New York State approved Special Education Preschool that provides educational and therapeutic services for children with developmental delays and disabilities, and it is described as providing leading educational and therapeutic programs for children with a range of developmental delays and disabilities. Its stated mission is: “PROVIDING EDUCATION IN A SAFE AND FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT,ENCOURAGING ALL STUDENTS AND STAFF TO REACH THEIR FULL POTENTIAL.”

Red Door places itself in communities which historically lack access to necessary educational programs. One parent describes Red Door Learning Centers as “an all-time top-notch school and after school learning for kids” and notes that a teacher, Ms. Agnes Flores, “does a fantastic job” and that the child “has learned so much being in her class.” Another comment states that Red Door Childcare “does their best to use Best Practices and meet the individual needs of the children they serve” and that the staff is “well trained to use Best Practices and give the community the quality care that is needed.” Additional feedback includes that families “love being apart of the Red Door family,” that staff “make sure my kids feel welcome,” and that parents are encouraged to “keep up the great work.” A Spanish-speaking parent states, “Muy bonita la escuela, mis hijos están aprendiendo mucho. Y les encanta ir,” translated as, “The school is very nice, my children are learning a lot, they love to go.” Another comment highlights “Professionalism, Quality.”
