YMCA of Long Island Summer Day Camp includes activities in Adventure, Aquatics, Creative Arts, and Camp Traditions. The program also offers Special Activities and Trips, along with Summer Learning as part of the camp experience.

• Ages: 3–15 years old
• Schedule: Camp sessions run in two-week blocks from June 29–July 10, July 13–July 24, July 27–August 7, and August 10–21 in 2026, with additional Camp Closeout options August 24–28, 2026 (K–5th grade) and August 24–27, 2026 at the Huntington YMCA. Camp hours are 9am–4pm, with optional extended care from 7am–9am and 4pm–6pm.
• Price: PLUS 5-month payment plan. Pricing will be available during enrollment process.

The camp offers a variety of options for ages 3–15, including Kiddie, Youth, Pre-Teen, Teen, Sports Camp, and Counselor-in-Training (CIT) programs. Families can attend Camp Open House events that include tours and Q&A. The program also features Tween Takeover nights for 3rd–6th graders, a Y Guy Winter Coloring Book, and the Phones Down Eyes Up water safety initiative. A 5-month payment plan is available for camp fees.

YMCA of Long Island is celebrating the YMCA 175th Anniversary. The YMCA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility. YMCA Family Services, a branch of the YMCA of Long Island, provides individualized services to anyone impacted by substance use and offers comprehensive prevention and treatment counseling services that promote emotional wellness for individuals, families, and the community. The organization states that in all programs it meets everyone with dignity and respect and guides each individual along a path to balance and wellness.

The camp is supported by a diverse staff that includes licensed social workers, licensed mental health counselors, credentialed alcohol and substance abuse counselors, a psychiatrist, a physician’s assistant, and other trained advocates. YMCA of Long Island also offers a women-only group counseling program with childcare services for members with children.

Through its Community Education program, the YMCA provides visual displays, literature distribution, and a Speaker’s Bureau that supplies speakers for schools, community agencies, church groups, and other interested community organizations.
