BASCOL is governed by a Board of Directors and an Executive Director who ensure its compliance with New York State Office of Children and Family Services child care regulations. The organization’s mission is to provide convenient, quality New York State licensed before and after school child care on location with engaging activities for children in grades K through 6th.

Parents describe BASCOL as safe, fun, reliable, convenient, and affordable, and note that it offers both morning (AM) and afternoon (PM) care. Parents report that office and onsite staff are helpful and supportive to family needs and describe staff as professional, cordial, caring, and affectionate with the children. Several parents state that their children love attending BASCOL, are excited to go each day, and sometimes are unhappy about being picked up early. Parents also report positive experiences with specific staff, including “Mr. Joe” and his team, and mention that children participate in new games, learn new facts, and practice behavioral interactions with other kids. Multiple parents say they would recommend BASCOL to other families and describe the program as important to the community.
