The Art Guild Kids & Teens Classes and Camps

The Art Guild Kids & Teens Classes and Camps include kids’ art classes that cover drawing, watercolor, felting, gouache, mosaics, and fiber arts. The program is part of The Art Guild’s broader offerings, which also include adult art classes, workshops, gallery exhibitions, and juried competition and exhibits.

The Art Guild is a non-profit visual arts center, non-profit gallery, and award-winning school. Instructors are all professional teachers and artists, some local and others from far corners of the world. The Art Guild of Port Washington, Inc., is Nassau County’s premier community visual arts center and serves as a hub for local artists, students and families to broaden their creative pursuits, with its door open to the advancement of the visual arts for people of all ages and demographics. It offers weekly classes and short workshops for adults, teens and children in person and online for all levels, and these classes and workshops are small and personalized. The Art Guild hosts 9 gallery shows per year with juried competition and exhibits, and offers opportunities for everyone in the community to enjoy and display their work, including through community outreach at Littig House Community Center. Membership benefits include reduced fees for all classes, workshops and camps, $10+ off exhibition entry fees, participation in the annual Members Showcase exhibit, and listing in the Members Artist Gallery webpage. The Art Guild’s weekly adult art classes have been ranked the best in Nassau County for 10 consecutive years, its gallery exhibitions were voted the best for the 10th year in a row, it has won Best Art Gallery in Nassau County for 10 years in a row (every year 2015–present), it has won Best Art School every year 2016–present, and it has won Best Art Classes in Nassau County for 9 years in a row.
