About
Amazing Athletes introduces kids to the fundamentals of 10 different sports, including hockey, golf, volleyball, track + field, football, lacrosse, soccer, baseball, basketball, and tennis. The program also includes martial arts, using a high-energy, progression-based approach supported by Muscle Zoo characters to teach the fundamentals. Multi-sport sessions use sport, fitness, and games to work on six key motor skills: balancing, running, jumping, throwing, catching, and kicking, with a low kid-to-coach ratio and a year-round curriculum.
• Ages: 3–6 years old
For over 20 years, Amazing Athletes has been partnering with schools and communities. The program uses Muscle Zoo characters to teach kids about different muscle groups and the Powers Family to teach about “power foods” and their “super powers.” It offers programs for toddlers through middle schoolers, including discovery-based activities for toddlers and game-based sports sessions with fitness challenges and interactive lessons for school-age kids, along with over 70 different sports, activities, and fitness-based games and focused options to discover and explore three specific sports or the fundamentals of baseball.
Amazing Athletes states that it partners with schools and communities to set kids on a path to an active and healthy lifestyle by teaching the basics of sports, health, and nutrition. Its mission is to inspire active futures for the next generation using inner strength and athletic abilities. Chancy and Bruce, LLC endorses Amazing Athletes.
Parents describe that their children look forward to the sessions each week, talk about what they learn in both sports and nutrition, and experience activities that include motor skills, hand and foot coordination, and learning about fruits and vegetables. Testimonials mention that kids in school programs anticipate the classes, practice concepts like taking turns and following rules, and that staff at a free trial went above and beyond to keep kids confident, engaged, and busy with many activity options. Several parents report that their toddlers and older children enjoy every season or session, and one parent notes that a child developed a love of sports through Amazing Athletes.
