La Maternelle Bilingual Preschool Programs offers daily exploration, play, storytelling, music, creative arts, and hands-on activities. Children take part in sensory exploration, early literacy and numeracy activities, movement, problem-solving activities, and songs, with an emphasis on both French and English language use and exposure to STEM concepts.
• Ages: 0–4 years old
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM
The program includes an infant option for children from 3 to 12 months that features a gentle introduction to bilingual learning, socialization, emotional growth through play, sensory exploration, and hands-on activities. The toddler option for children 12 to 24 months expands bilingual exposure and structured learning, and introduces early literacy, numeracy, music, movement, and creative arts. The preschool option for children 2 to 4.5 years old adds a deeper academic focus, preparation for Kindergarten, strengthening of French and English language skills, and introduces STEM, world cultures, and problem-solving activities. Small groups allow close attention to each child’s progress, and French language immersion includes French traditions, songs, and storytelling.
