Teen and Children’s Art Classes offers Teen Classes and Children's Classes. Teen Classes (13-18) and Children's Classes (8-12) take place within the same overall program, Teen and Children’s Art Classes.
• Ages: 8–18 years old
Since 1875, The Art Students League of New York has run programs such as Teen and Children’s Art Classes. The program is part of an atelier-style system that allows students to follow their own path within a diverse community, developing the skills and techniques needed to become a successful artist on their own schedule. Within this system, students may choose a Certificate Track or an Independent Track. Students who successfully complete the League's Certificate Track receive a Certificate of Fine Art, an industry-recognized certification that represents the student’s expertise in traditional techniques.
