About
Riverside Park Conservancy Summer Sports Camp offers weekly all-day sports sessions that include baseball, basketball, flag football, soccer, tennis, volleyball, and multi-sport options. In the multi-sport program, campers spend the morning on one sport and the afternoon on another for the entire week, with the switch happening before lunch, and multi-sport campers are not grouped differently from campers attending a single sport all day. All programs provide uniforms or T-shirts, and the camp employs an on-site medical trainer.
• Ages: 4–16 years old
• Schedule: Weekly all-day camp with sessions running between June 8 and August 28 at Riverside Park and between July 13 and August 21 at Fort Washington, generally from 9:00am to 3:30pm
• Price: Riverside Park: Half Day: $450 per week, Full Day: $600 per week. Fort Washington: Half Day: $275 per week, Full Day: $400 per week. Optional lunch is available for $60 per week.
Riverside Park Conservancy’s Summer Sports Camp states that its program aims to foster an equal playing field for all campers through sportsmanship, healthy living, leadership, and community values. The camp offers a scholarship program that allows every camper, regardless of their family’s financial situation, to attend. For Baseball, Basketball, and Flag Football, there are two indoor facilities used on rainy days, split based on camper age, and for Soccer, Tennis, and Volleyball, there are indoor facilities directly across from the 101st Soccer Field for rain days; in light rain, campers play through and take breaks under tents.
Add-ons at Riverside Park include meals, transportation, early drop-off, and late pickup, and add-ons at Fort Washington Park include early drop-off and late pickup. For a fee of $60 per week, the lunch program provides a nutritious, balanced meal catered by Ellington in the Park Café, and this lunch program is not suitable for campers with food allergies or those who are kosher or gluten-free; campers may bring their own lunch even if they attend for a half day, but should be picked up by 12:30pm in that case. There will be no camp on Friday, June 19 (Juneteenth) or Friday, July 3.
Riverside Park Conservancy works in partnership with NYC Parks to restore, maintain, and improve 6 miles of parkland from West 59th Street to 181st Street. Riverside Park Conservancy Multi-Sport Camp is a New York City Football Club Youth Soccer Partner for the 2026 season, and through this relationship the Fort Washington Camp community will have access to matchday ticketing discounts, new stadium priority, gameday experiences, youth partner–specific talent ID events, coaching education opportunities, and related offerings. A promotion for the Fort Washington Camp offers savings when booking four or more weeks.
