Soccer Stars is backed by 20+ years of experience. The curriculum is crafted by soccer experts and child development professionals, and coaches bring a blend of soccer and early childhood development experience. Super Soccer Stars coaches are required to undergo extensive background checks and participate in training programs that focus on safety, coaching quality, and child development knowledge. The program states that its goal is to help children improve their gross motor and soccer skills and uses the soccer ball as a vehicle to instill life lessons, develop skills, boost confidence, and develop teamwork in every class, with an emphasis on safe and positive experiences on the field.
Soccer Stars describes itself as the nation’s most popular children’s soccer program for ages 1 to 12+ and offers an age-specific, soccer-focused curriculum in a fun, non-competitive, and educational environment with a low child-to-coach ratio and positive reinforcement learning through play. The program includes a specially designed age-appropriate curriculum that incorporates life skills taught through soccer. Its Shining Stars program uses soccer to teach life skills to children with developmental challenges, with classes that focus on simplifying soccer into specific components while teammates work together to build new skills. Soccer Stars is part of the Youth Athletes United team as a youth franchise and operating platform. The program partners with early childhood centers, preschools, and elementary schools to offer in-house programming and describes its community as one that celebrates diversity, inclusion, and belonging while playing.
