The Diller-Quaile School of Music

The Diller-Quaile School of Music offers individual and group music instruction, as well as ensemble and performance opportunities, to students of all levels and ages. The School presents Rug Concerts® for children and their families, which are designed especially for young listeners as an intimate, interactive introduction to live music. The School fosters musicianship and the development of knowledge, skills, and expressivity through responsive teaching, and also offers teacher training courses, programs, and professional development initiatives that further innovative thinking and support academic and administrative work.

• Schedule: General hours Monday–Saturday, 9:00 AM–9:00 PM; summer building hours Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–7:00 PM

Since 1920, The Diller-Quaile School of Music has offered a learning environment where music flourishes in all its aspects. Diller-Quaile’s mission is to develop the innate musicality in each individual, inspiring participation for a lifetime. The School promotes cultural vibrancy and lifelong engagement in the arts through student concerts, performances by faculty and guest artists, master classes, and educational community programs. The Diller-Quaile School of Music is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Precollegiate Arts Schools, is an accredited institutional member of the National Association of Schools of Music, is a member of the National Guild for Community Arts Education, and is an approved Sponsor of Continuing Teacher and Leader Education (CTLE) by the New York State Education Department.
