The Diller-Quaile School of Music offers individual and group music instruction, ensemble and performance opportunities, student concerts, and performances by faculty and guest artists. The program also includes master classes, educational community programs, Rug Concerts, and Music in Bloom, which features joyful songs, interactive music-making, arts & crafts, and sweet treats.

Since 1920, The Diller-Quaile School of Music has offered a learning environment where music flourishes in all its aspects. Diller-Quaile’s mission is to develop the innate musicality in each individual, inspiring participation for a lifetime. The school’s philosophy and mission place the belief that music is a fundamental part of human life at the center of its work, with the phrase “Music for All, Music for a Lifetime.” The program includes an Early Childhood Program for ages 3 months–5 years, Instrumental & Vocal Programs for ages 4 years through Grade 12, and adult lessons and ensembles. Rug Concerts offer an intimate, interactive introduction to live music for children and their families. All proceeds from Music in Bloom benefit Diller-Quaile’s tuition-free community music programs and the need-based Scholarship Fund, which support access to quality music education. The Diller-Quaile School of Music is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Precollegiate Arts Schools, is an accredited institutional member of the National Association of Schools of Music, is a member of the National Guild for Community Arts Education, and is an approved Sponsor of Continuing Teacher and Leader Education (CTLE) by the New York State Education Department.
