Niskayuna KinderCare offers hands-on activities for children. The program includes learning experiences that meet each child where they are socially and academically. Kids also participate in daily activities with peers and teachers in the classroom.

Center Director Jessica Ribner leads Niskayuna KinderCare. She joined KinderCare in 2024 and has worked in education for 18 years. Her credentials include a Bachelor’s Degree in Childhood Education, a Master’s Degree in Education with a specialization in Literacy B-6, and teaching certifications in Childhood Education 1-6, Literacy B-6, and Career and Technical Education 7-12.
The center is accredited by NAEYC. The program follows an open door policy and focuses on building strong relationships with families. Teachers are available to discuss child-related concerns. The program is not currently offering part-time enrollments. Families can sign up for summer and spring break care, and children can attend Champ Camp on a full-time or part-time basis. The program uses assessments to track and measure learning and growth. Health and safety are stated as the top priority from drop-off to pick-up. The program states that it is more than daycare and that early learners get ready for kindergarten and beyond with an expertly designed curriculum. It also states that children receive professional care and attention in a wholesome learning environment catered to growth and development.
