• Schedule: Includes options such as basketball open gym and half-gym time on Sunday 2/8, with the gym closed 8 am–3 pm and limited open times that day.

The Schenectady JCC was originally founded in 1921 as a merger of the Young Men's and Young Women's Hebrew Association. It moved to its current Balltown Road location in Niskayuna in 1965, and the William and Estelle Golub Family Park opened in 1987. The organization operates as a non-profit community center and welcomes the diverse populations of Schenectady, Albany, and Saratoga Counties. Its mission is to build a vibrant, welcoming, and inclusive community that embraces Jewish values, culture, identity, and connections to Israel, engages the local community, and enhances the body, mind, and spirit of its members. The program’s facilities include an Olympic-size outdoor pool, an amphitheater, a snack bar, locker and shower rooms, and tennis courts, and it also offers facility rentals and parties with custom rentals available.
