About the provider

Bill Roeder is the owner of Waverly Martial Arts. The leadership team also includes Bobby and Jackie, his children, and a team of teachers. Bill Roeder is an 8th-degree black belt. In 2016, Bill, Bobby, and Jackie were promoted to 7th-, 6th-, and 4th-degree black belts. The school’s martial arts journey spans over 25 years, and Bill’s Taekwondo training began in 1972, with a return to training in 1990 after an 18-year hiatus. The school says it focuses on learning and sharing, progressive teaching methods, character development, and a curriculum that is fun and effective. Classes are described as age-appropriate and include positive recognition and rewards for effort, skill, manners, sportsmanship, and respectful treatment of others.
