About the provider
Huguenot Nursery School was founded in 1992. It is a private, non-profit preschool serving Pelham and its surrounding communities. The school is non-sectarian and welcomes families of all backgrounds and cultures. Its mission statement says it focuses on the development of the “whole child” through cognitive, physical, emotional, and social development in a nurturing and comfortable environment. The school is licensed by the New York State office of Children and Family Services, and parents are an integral part of the program through an active Parents Committee.
Children attend a music class with a trained music specialist once a week and meet with a professional storyteller once a month. Full-day families pay only for the activity in afternoon programs. Program costs vary. Payment is collected at the beginning of each trimester. No child will be allowed to attend a program until payment is received. There are no refunds for missed classes.
