• Ages: 3–18 years old

Pelham Music Arts Studio offers professional, private music instruction for children and adults of all ages, with lessons designed to meet the specific age and ability of each student. The studio includes three spaces customized for private instruction, with a Children’s Studio that has a cheerful atmosphere similar to a primary education space and two studios with a more mature atmosphere for young adults and seniors. Private music instruction is available both in-studio and in-home, and new registrations are accepted at any time. All instructors are degreed, accomplished musicians and educators, and are described as both excellent performers and dedicated educators who learn about students’ music goals and help them achieve them.

The program offers a Senior Program to re-establish the desire, perseverance, and enjoyment of a musical skill that might have been put on hold, and a Special Needs Program that focuses on the ability and not the disability of the student. In-home lessons can be arranged for certain instruments. Pelham Music Arts Studio provides quality music instruction to residents in Pelham, New Rochelle, Mount Vernon, Eastchester, Bronxville, Yonkers, Lower Westchester County, and the Bronx. The studio materials indicate activity between 2014 and 2018.

Parent testimonials describe instructors as engaging, patient, flexible with busy school schedules, and sweet and patient with kids. Parents report that their children look forward to lessons and enjoy them, and one senior student reports taking piano lessons for two years and finding an interest to occupy free time.
