About

JBFC Summer Camp takes place at the Jacob Burns Film Center, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit film and education organization. The program is connected to a historic building that includes five film screens and a gallery space that is open more than 360 days a year. The organization’s mission is to gather audiences, students, and filmmakers to experience film and learn about the craft, themselves, and each other.

• Ages: 9–17 years old
• Price: Regular admission prices: JBFC Members $11; General public $16; Senior-nonmembers (62+, Mon.-Thurs. only) $13; Children (under 14) $9.00; Students (14-22 with valid ID) $11; EBT Cardholders (with valid EBT Card and ID) $11. A premium ticket price applies to 35mm screenings of new releases to support required projectionist staffing. Prices for speaker and special events vary. Online processing fees apply to nonmember orders and vary based on ticket price, starting at $1.75 per ticket. Members pay no online fees.

The Jacob Burns Film Center shows new releases, classics, foreign films, and documentaries in DCP, 3D, and 35mm projection. It hosts discussions such as panel discussions, readings, lectures, and live music recitals in the David Swope Theater. All theaters are equipped with a hearing loop system, and loop receivers and headphones are available at the box office. The Jane Peck Gallery is used for receptions, exhibitions, and other events. Discounts are available to groups of 10 or more at the member price, and there is a stand-by line for unredeemed tickets for sold-out special events, with members receiving priority.
