Bright & Early Discoveries

Bright & Early Discoveries offers homework help and academic support, STEM activities, creative play, and social development activities. Children take part in field trips that connect them with their community and enrichment events such as career day and special guest visits. The program also includes music in a music room with kid-friendly instruments and outdoor play that focuses on nature.

Bright & Early Discoveries began in 2016, founded by Jennifer LaMaina. The program’s philosophy is based on play-based learning and creativity, blending indoor and outdoor environments in a home-away-from-home setting where children are described as feeling empowered and ready to learn. It offers home-based settings, early education centers, and before and after school programs, with a warm, intimate home-based environment, individualized routines and learning experiences, and strong educator-family relationships. The program includes preschool and pre-K options focused on school readiness and uses a hands-on, research-backed curriculum with creative learning through art, music, and storytelling.

Bright & Early Discoveries states that it is a nurturing, inclusive childcare community with a diverse, all-inclusive environment that honors every culture and family. The curriculum includes a focus on empathy, kindness, and respect for others and the environment. Families have access to flexible hours, real classroom visibility through high-quality, video-first marketing, and updates through the Procare app. The program uses CDC-recommended cleaning products and routines, limits access to the facility to authorized personnel and parents or family members with permission, and serves healthy chef-prepared meals each day that meet dietary restrictions.
