Harbor Child Care offers programs that use the Creative Curriculum® for infants, toddlers, twos, and preschool children. Harbor Child Care began in 1973 when founder Jill Rooney opened a day care center with eight children in a home in Sea Cliff. For over 50 years, Harbor Child Care has provided early childhood education and services in a safe and nurturing environment for over 20,000 young children and has enriched the lives of more than 20,000 children since 1973. It is one of the largest not-for-profit organizations dedicated to full-day child care, early childhood, and school-age education on Long Island and offers programs for infants ages 3–18 months, toddlers ages 18–36 months, a pre-K program for ages 3–5 years, and school-age summer camps.
