SPORTIME Capital Region Youth Camps and Sports Programs offers activities that include tennis, pickleball, volleyball, soccer, dek hockey, basketball, and lacrosse. The program also includes summer day camps, school-break camps, JMTA “Train 52” elite training camps, JMTA elite summer tennis training, and other sports and sport-specific camps that focus on fitness, team sports, youth sports, camp, and health and fitness. The club’s Eager Explorers preschool/daycare is also part of the overall program offerings.
The program is part of SPORTIME, which has been celebrating over 30 years of operation. SPORTIME owns and operates tennis, pickleball, and sports clubs and features every racket and paddle sport, as well as elite academies for tennis and volleyball, at locations across Long Island, in NYC, Westchester, the NY Capital Region, and in New Jersey. Across its 20 clubs, SPORTIME offers more than 325 indoor and outdoor tennis and pickleball courts, as well as volleyball, turf, hockey and sports rinks, and gyms. SPORTIME Capital Region was formerly known as SPORTIME Schenectady and rebranded after a major renovation, with new site management and a new name. The organization’s stated purpose is to help those who patronize its clubs achieve their sports and fitness goals.

Through the Johnny Mac Tennis Project (JMTP), which is connected to the John McEnroe Tennis Academy, SPORTIME is involved in a community program that focuses on removing racial, economic, and social barriers to success through tennis. JMTP serves more than 5,000 New York children each year.
