Cheryl is a former educator with a B.S. in Childhood Education and English Literature from LIU Post, and Jason earned his MBA from LIU Post and has served as Managing Director for over 15 years. Camps 'R' Us includes Tiny Tots Nursery and Pre-K for younger children, Explorers for campers in grades K–4, and programs for campers in grades 5–8. The camp is for kids ages 3 and up and offers convenient hours with on-demand extended hours for early drop-off and late pick-up. Families can use flexible payment options, including pay now or pay later, and most families are eligible for at least one discount. Registration is completed through a secure online form, and an app is available for iOS and Android. Camps 'R' Us is accredited, award-winning, and described as affordable, and it has served tens of thousands of children across Long Island since its founding.

Camps 'R' Us describes itself as a community of campers, parents, and staff members who come together each summer. Its stated mission is to build character, confidence, and leadership in young people while providing what it describes as the highest quality, most affordable camp experience on Long Island, and to provide what it describes as the most fun, safe, and affordable summer camp experience for Long Island families.
