Smithtown Summer Camp at Knox School

Smithtown Summer Camp at Knox School features an on campus pool with daily swim instruction from certified teachers. The camp takes place at a facility that spans 40 acres of waterfront property and includes a secure, child-focused environment with enriching, thoughtfully curated activities and unique daily experiences.

The camp’s mission is to create a community where children of all ages discover their true potential while enjoying unforgettable summer experiences, with a welcoming atmosphere that promotes personal development, enjoyment, and a love for learning. Daily swim instruction is led by certified teachers, and the staff includes educators, sports specialists, and passionate individuals who love working with children. Counselors are selected for their maturity, energy, experience with children, and passion for working with children, and they participate in thorough training sessions guided by the supervisory team and experts in youth development. Head Counselors and Supervisors have years of experience and a focus on educating children, and the Camp Directors and Administration are educators and professionals with decades of combined experience in camp management, education, and athletics.
